Apple and Pear Quiche


2 apples peeled and sliced
2 pears peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons butter
8 ounces grated cheddar cheese
1 10 inch pastry shell
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 large eggs
1-½ cups whipping cream
Directions: Pre-bake pastry shell in 375 degree oven.
Saute’ apples and pears in butter for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over apples/pears.
Layer apples and pears in pastry shell.
Sprinkle cheese over apple/pear mixture.
In medium size bowl, lightly whisk together the eggs and whipping cream.
Pour over the apple/pear and cheese mixture.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 35 minutes or until set.
