Mulled Cider

12 cups apple cider

1/4 cup orange juice

peel of one orange

peel of one lemon

1 tbs brown sugar

3 cinnamon sticks

10 whole cloves

5 whole allspice

1 cup applejack brandy

1 cup dark rum

2 1/2 Tbsp butter

In a small saucepan melt butter. Add peel, brown sugar, cinamon sticks, cloves and allspice…stir until coated. Transfer to crock pot with cider and orange juice. Cook on low for 2-4 hours. When ready to serve add the brandy and rum! Can be made without the alcohol and is still very yummy!
